Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Manuel Secară struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Viorel Chindriș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carsisu. Sever Troncotă charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sever Troncotă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th match minute, JIUL Petrosani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sever Troncotă to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Manuel Secară got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Manuel Secară recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Viorel Chindriș. Manuel Secară showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The supporters of JIUL Petrosani booed when Carsisu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liviu Obregia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilie Măliță was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, JIUL Petrosani's Călin Gagiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dragoş Blaj narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind JIUL Petrosani's goalkeeper Viorel Chindriș, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manuel Secară had several of the JIUL Petrosani's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Viorel Chindriș as he didn't even see the shot coming. 34 minutes into the match, Carsisu's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Diaconu came free, but Dragoş Blaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Giubelean kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes, Carsisu's Liviu Obregia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Viorel Chindriș came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carsisu reached it. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Manuel Secară took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Viorel Chindriș to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to JIUL Petrosani getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dan Giubelean hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, JIUL Petrosani's Sever Troncotă got a free kick in the 47th minute. Horea Apostols short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Viorel Chindriș to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viorel Diaconu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Carsisu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavian Alexiu to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Carsisu's Dragoş Blaj got control of the ball when Călin Gagiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viorel Diaconu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragoş Blaj having to interfere. Horea Apostol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Secară in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viorel Chindriș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viorel Chindriș came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Carsisu's Manuel Secară. But to his dismay, Manuel Secară quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Manuel Secară had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viorel Chindriș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Secară in the 76th minute of the match. Horea Apostol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viorel Chindriș came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Carsisu's Manuel Secară. But to his dismay, Manuel Secară quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Carsisu's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Viorel Diaconu 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-1.
