Leontin Cobzeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Bîlbă, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Felix Romanescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iosif Şuţu firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 11th minute, Felix Romanescu made a precise shot to the right of Iosif Şuţu. Topilele's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Sandu Seţeanu fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Topilele's protests and gave Sandu Seţeanu a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Topilele:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Peretu:s goal. Topilele's Iosif Şuţu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Topilele from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the game, Mihail Bârlă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Peretu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Topilele the free kick. The supporters of Topilele booed when FC Peretu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Bârlă didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Maxim Bîlbă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Topilele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxim Bîlbă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Topilele's Dorel Șişman got a free kick in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorel Șişman in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leontin Cobzeanu saved FC Peretu from getting behind. Mihail Bârlă made in the 38th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Romanescu. In the 46th minute, Felix Romanescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Iosif Şuţu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Ciompec in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Constantin Iorgulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Ciompec struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Iosif Şuţu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Peretu. After a rather tough play, FC Peretu's Moise Pavalescu got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute Matei Tache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leontin Cobzeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iosif Şuţu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Ciompec, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Iosif Şuţu came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Peretu's Anton Ciompec. But to his dismay, Anton Ciompec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mugurel Drăgănoiu during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Mugurel Drăgănoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Maxim Bîlbă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Topilele's supporters rose to their feet, but Maxim Bîlbă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leontin Cobzeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Moise Pavalescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Topilele booed when FC Peretu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Cinteză didn't get a good kick on the ball.
