Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Irinel Agud started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vali Vârnav showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Șerban Purje, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Vali Vârnav came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by OLYMPYA SANPETRU's Dinu Tănasă. But to his dismay, Dinu Tănasă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Irinel Agud received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ionuț Pintilescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Irinel Agud slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 35th minute. Ionuț Pintilescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Agud in the 38th minute of play. If Dinu Tănasă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Cufoaia got a freekick which was hit by Iacob Şandru. Dinu Tănasă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Vali Vârnav tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Șerban Purje to strike the kick off in the second half. Gică Cipău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ionuț Pintilescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Gică Cipău came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Cufoaia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gică Cipău couldn't finish the play. Vali Vârnav made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinu Tănasă in the 79th minute. After 85 minutes, Radu Tobă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cufoaia and the OLYMPYA SANPETRU players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cufoaia getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Radu Tobă hit a great ball. If Șerban Purje had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gică Cipău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ionuț Pintilescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Irinel Agud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Pintilescu having to interfere. Cufoaia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
