The supporters of Sudrigi booed when Solacolu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Bobeica didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Solacolu's Cazimir Angheloiu threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sandu Cărtărescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandu Cărtărescu made a kick off. With a left leg Cazimir Angheloiu saved Sudrigi from getting behind. 82 minutes into the game, Solacolu's Cătălin Dorian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cazimir Angheloiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Romeo Albulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Sudrigi defense, Cătălin Dorian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cazimir Angheloiu. The Sudrigi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cazimir Angheloiu should have stopped the shot. If Sandu Cărtărescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Holban kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 98th minute Solacolu were awarded a corner. Vasile Ciolac went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sudrigi's goalie and right to Vintilă Bobeica. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sudrigi's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
