Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Irinel Agud got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Radu Tobă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucian Romulus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irinel Agud, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Universitatea Cluj's Lucian Romulus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Universitatea Cluj from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute, Cufoaia's Irinel Agud dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Lucian Romulus made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Gică Cipău sent off a good shot on target. Horaţiu Cosor charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horaţiu Cosor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Horaţiu Cosor hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Lucian Romulus acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eliodor Maniu. Gică Cipău struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Lucian Romulus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cufoaia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Cipău in the 34th minute of play forced Universitatea Cluj's goalkeeper Lucian Romulus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucian Romulus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gică Cipău in the 39th minute. In the 48th minute Irinel Agud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucian Romulus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, Cufoaia's Vali Vârnav got control of the ball when Isac Zdrenţu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Irinel Agud put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lucian Romulus. If Radu Tobă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Gică Cipău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Gică Cipău had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucian Romulus. Universitatea Cluj's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gică Cipău was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Irinel Agud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Agud in the 86th minute of play forced Universitatea Cluj's goalkeeper Lucian Romulus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Zburliş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Vali Vârnav tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Isac Zdrenţu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Universitatea Cluj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isac Zdrenţu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Cufoaia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
