Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Irinel Agud got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Eliodor Maniu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cufoaia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Peretu the free kick. After 4 played minutes Cufoaia got a freekick which was hit by Eliodor Maniu. FC Peretu's Anton Ciompec got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Romanescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vali Vârnav. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Romanescu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute, FC Peretu's Petru Baba fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Vali Vârnav was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. In the 12th minute, Gică Cipău had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Avram Velicu fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Peretu's protests and gave Avram Velicu a yellow card for diving instead. Avram Velicu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Anton Ciompec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Anton Ciompec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Peretu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Ciompec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Irinel Agud sped through FC Peretu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leontin Cobzeanu. Petru Baba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vali Vârnav having to interfere. Felix Romanescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Vali Vârnav tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Romanescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Irinel Agud in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leontin Cobzeanu saved FC Peretu from getting behind. A collision led to FC Peretu getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Anton Ciompec hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Cufoaia's Fabian Hudiță got a free kick in the 37th minute. With his leg Vali Vârnav managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when FC Peretu's Felix Romanescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Petru Baba came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FC Peretu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petru Baba couldn't finish the play. The FC Peretu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cufoaia were winning 0-1.
Felix Romanescu charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Romanescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st match minute, FC Peretu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Romanescu to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Cufoaia's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Romanescu came free, but Vali Vârnav reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Irinel Agud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irinel Agud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Cobzeanu having to interfere. If Irinel Agud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irinel Agud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Irinel Agud had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leontin Cobzeanu. FC Peretu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Irinel Agud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 71st match minute, FC Peretu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Romanescu to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabian Hudiță during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Cufoaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Hudiță to maneuver through the defense. Irinel Agud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Călin Melentie hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radu Nae during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eugen Păvăloae kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cufoaia's zone, Felix Romanescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vali Vârnav came out of the goal and Felix Romanescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Felix Romanescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Peretu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cufoaia's performance. The match ended with a win for Cufoaia.
