Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Viorel Aluneanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Scheia booed when Sudrigi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Brânzaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 3 played minutes, Scheia's Avram Zăvoiu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cazimir Angheloiu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Scheia reached it. In the 5th minute, Sudrigi's Emanuel Holban dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Cazimir Angheloiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Curăreanu in the 9th minute of the match. Ernest Mortu came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Sudrigi's Robert Brânzaru. But to his dismay, Robert Brânzaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Cazimir Angheloiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viorel Aluneanu's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Cazimir Angheloiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Aluneanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, one of Sudrigi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Curăreanu in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cazimir Angheloiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viorel Aluneanu succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. In the 36th minute Victor Curăreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cazimir Angheloiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Sudrigi's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Aluneanu came free, but Cazimir Angheloiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Sudrigi's Emanuel Holban dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. When Ioan Tomoioagă fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sudrigi's protests and gave Ioan Tomoioagă a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Sudrigi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Scheia:s goal. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Scheia. Matei Oprea stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cazimir Angheloiu. 3-4. After the first half Scheia were leading 3-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cătălin Prelipceanu made a kick off. Victor Curăreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Cazimir Angheloiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Curăreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cazimir Angheloiu having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viorel Aluneanu in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cazimir Angheloiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute Daniel Săvoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Mortu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernest Mortu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Brânzaru in the 69th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Scheia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Florean to maneuver through the defense. Cazimir Angheloiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Aluneanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Victor Curăreanus short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Cazimir Angheloiu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ernest Mortu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Brânzaru in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cătălin Prelipceanu in the 97th minute of play forced Scheia's goalkeeper Ernest Mortu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Scheia's Ernest Mortu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Brânzaru in the 98th minute of play. In the 99th minute, one of Scheia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Scheia. In the 102nd minute there was a penalty for Sudrigi. Sorin Șişman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ernest Mortu. 5-4. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sudrigi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Scheia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
