Moise Ciupe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Vlad Baicu made a huge save. Vlad Baicu was a little too slow when Remus Petru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-0. Dacian Antonescu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Romeo Ţeica charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Ţeica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of CSMS Iasi booed when Banicel FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Ţeica didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dacian Brânzaru was the one to do the kick off. If Martin Petriceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
