Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Codrin Bărbulescu got the match started through his kick off. Matei Panciu charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matei Panciu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Gropnita AS got a freekick which was hit by Matei Panciu. When Ilie Bălace fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gropnita AS's protests and gave Ilie Bălace a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Real Brasov booed when Gropnita AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Bălace didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Real Brasov's Ivan Busuioc couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gropnita AS. Denis Secară's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Lucian Cristian skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Denis Secară could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Lucian Cristian made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Edgar Basarabescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marius Ghercioiu was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 25th match minute, Gropnita AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilie Bălace to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gigi Istrătescu in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marius Ghercioiu saved Gropnita AS from getting behind. When Edgar Basarabescu came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the FC Real Brasov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Basarabescu couldn't finish the play. Denis Secară recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Denis Secară left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gropnita AS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 39th minute, Gropnita AS's Denis Secară dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 47 minutes into the game, Denis Secară cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Lucian Cristian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar Basarabescu to make the kick off. Denis Secară received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Lucian Cristian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilie Bălace kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Gigi Istrătescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Marius Ghercioiu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Gropnita AS's Marius Ghercioiu got control of the ball when Gigi Istrătescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Codrin Bărbulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Secară struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Lucian Cristian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gropnita AS. Codrin Bărbulescu got in the 72nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Lucian Cristian handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Gropnita AS's Denis Secară got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 minutes, Nistor Dumitrache mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Real Brasov and the Gropnita AS players grew even worse after the yellow card. 78 minutes into the game, one of FC Real Brasov:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 87thth minute of the game Codrin Bărbulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Real Brasov's Lucian Cristian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Denis Secară had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucian Cristian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codrin Bărbulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC Real Brasov's zone, Codrin Bărbulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucian Cristian came out of the goal and Codrin Bărbulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gropnita AS's Denis Secară got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Bărbulescu in the 98th minute of play forced FC Real Brasov's goalkeeper Lucian Cristian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucian Cristian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Secară, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilie Bălace blasted a shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucian Cristian having to make a save. Gropnita AS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
