The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sabin Silişteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dorel Budianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Vasile Stratulat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Mugur Mârzac managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cringurile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugur Mârzac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vasile Stratulat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sabin Silişteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Remus Predescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Cringurile fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Cringurile's Mugur Mârzac looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 24 minutes into the match, Cringurile's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Antim came free, but Remus Predescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silviu Antim in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Predescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mugur Mârzac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Vasile Stratulat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Pereveciori got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Isăceanu. Dorel Budianu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Vasile Stratulat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cringurile. After 35 played minutes Cringurile got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Cărtărescu. Dorin Dragota kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Cringurile's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Antim came free, but Remus Predescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pereveciori's Vasile Stratulat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Mârzac in the 43rd minute of play. Dorel Budianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Vasile Stratulat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silviu Antim made a kick off. If Dorel Budianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mugur Mârzac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasile Stratulat having to interfere. After 61 minutes of play, Pereveciori's Silviu Antim made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remus Predescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silviu Antim kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Remus Predescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Antim in the 69th minute of play. If Sabin Silişteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabin Silişteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Predescu having to interfere. Cringurile's Mugur Mârzac got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, one of Cringurile:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cringurile. Mihai Vârlan placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 91st minute, Sabin Silişteanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remus Predescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pereveciori fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cringurile had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
