Spectators: 7426 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Liviu Izvoranu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Iorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moise Alb came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ionică Socoriceanu could save by the left post. Hotin's Ionică Socoriceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Hotin from getting a goal against them. Ionică Socoriceanu was a little too slow when Mircea Boeru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in STEJARU 2011's zone, Octav Lazăr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liviu Izvoranu came out of the goal and Octav Lazăr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. STEJARU 2011's Liviu Izvoranu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Iorga in the 25th minute of play. After 28th play minutes Nistor Iorga shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Liviu Izvoranu and just under the crossbar into goal. Virgil Onitiu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Octav Lazăr might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Liviu Izvoranu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octav Lazăr ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Hotin's Octav Lazăr sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Liviu Izvoranu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Octavian Cristea charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octavian Cristea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Hotin got a freekick which was hit by Octavian Cristea. After 46 minutes, Sergiu Povară mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hotin and the STEJARU 2011 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Hotin got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Povară. Moise Alb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Ionică Socoriceanu made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mircea Boeru to strike the kick off in the second half. Liviu Izvoranu made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Octav Lazăr sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Boeru in the 64th minute of play forced Hotin's goalkeeper Ionică Socoriceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Emil Predescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-2 became the score in the 70th minute when Nistor Iorga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Hotin got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Povară. 78 minutes into the match, STEJARU 2011's goalkeeper Liviu Izvoranu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Octav Lazăr. Octav Lazăr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Liviu Izvoranu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 played minutes STEJARU 2011 got a freekick which was hit by Felix Turcescu. Ionică Socoriceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Alb in the 90th minute of the match. Mircea Boeru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ionică Socoriceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Nistor Iorga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hotin's supporters rose to their feet, but Nistor Iorga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liviu Izvoranu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The STEJARU 2011 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hotin were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
