Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Banicel FCM's Remus Petru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cringurile's Dorel Budianu got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute Mugur Mârzac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costin Isvoreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cringurile's Dorel Budianu got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Adam Văcaru came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Cringurile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Văcaru couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Mugur Mârzac's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Costin Isvoreanu was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Banicel FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Mugur Mârzac came free, but Costin Isvoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Ţeica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Remus Predescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remus Predescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Petru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Ţeica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Predescu having to interfere. Romeo Ţeica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Remus Predescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cringurile's Dorin Dragota got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Cringurile getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Adam Văcaru hit a great ball. Dacian Antonescu, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Banicel FCM's Remus Petru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remus Predescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Cringurile getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Dorin Dragota hit a great ball. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cringurile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dacian Antonescu was slow to take the kick. During this time Banicel FCM's players had a chance to rest. Dacian Popoiu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Remus Predescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Ţeica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mugur Mârzac to strike the kick off in the second half. Remus Predescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Petru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorel Budianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Costin Isvoreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remus Petru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remus Predescu having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Petru in the 71st minute of play forced Cringurile's goalkeeper Remus Predescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Remus Petru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banicel FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Remus Petru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remus Predescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dacian Antonescu, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Remus Petru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Remus Predescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Ţeica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute Remus Petru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Predescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mugur Mârzac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Costin Isvoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorin Dragota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
