SS Castrum Deva's Marcel Vârlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Antim in the 54th minute of play. Sandu Burtea was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SS Castrum Deva! Marcel Vârlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Antim in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Isac Lupșe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SS Castrum Deva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pereveciori the free kick. Silviu Antim took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Vârlan. Marcel Vârlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Vasile Stratulat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Lupșe in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Codrin Trăilă managed to get in a good position for a shot. SS Castrum Deva's supporters rose to their feet, but Codrin Trăilă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vasile Stratulat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Codrin Trăilă struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Vasile Stratulat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SS Castrum Deva. SS Castrum Deva's Codrin Trăilă got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pereveciori's zone, Isac Lupșe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasile Stratulat came out of the goal and Isac Lupșe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pereveciori were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over SS Castrum Deva's much stronger midfield.
