Breazova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 17 minutes into the match, Breazova's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Macrea came free, but Iustinian Arnăuțoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidiu Petran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Bălanescu having to interfere. Breazova's Iustinian Arnăuțoiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Breazova from getting a goal against them. Ştefan Turcan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iustinian Arnăuțoiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. If Ovidiu Petran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horia Rioşanu's late challenge caught a Dinamo Bucureşti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horia Rioşanu helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Breazova! After having played for 47 minutes, Sergiu Macrea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dinamo Bucureşti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergiu Macrea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergiu Macrea made a kick off. Răzvan Cartianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Corneliu Bălanescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Ştefan Turcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustinian Arnăuțoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ştefan Turcan took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iustinian Arnăuțoiu. Iustinian Arnăuțoiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Dinamo Bucureşti's Corneliu Bălanescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Dinamo Bucureşti from getting a goal against them. If Ştefan Turcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergiu Macrea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iustinian Arnăuțoiu having to make a save. Dinamo Bucureşti's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
