In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind SCORILO - CARPI's goalkeeper Manole Gârneață, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 22 played minutes SCORILO - CARPI got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Chifan. Sergiu Oanță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Sever Lera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Horia Moiș. Sever Lera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 33 minutes of play, SCORILO - CARPI's Francisc Ghiorman made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horia Moiș was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Sever Lera in the 40th minute of play forced Paris-Saint-Germain's goalkeeper Horia Moiș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paris-Saint-Germain's Sergiu Oanță got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vali Stârcea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Manole Gârneață tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sever Lera made a kick off. Horia Moiș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Lera, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sever Lera in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horia Moiș saved Paris-Saint-Germain from getting behind. Ovidiu Huștea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Gârneață having to interfere. Manole Gârneață made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Stârcea in the 59th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Iustinian Prunaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horia Moiș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisc Ghiorman, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Sever Lera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 minutes Paris-Saint-Germain's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Remus Frumuzache who took care of the corner kick. After 82 minutes, Sever Lera made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paris-Saint-Germain's Horia Moiș tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vali Stârcea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergiu Oanță's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manole Gârneață read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
