The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aron Chirtoacă was the one to do the kick off. Sergiu Oanță might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxim Frunză. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergiu Oanță ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Brănescu's late challenge caught a Paris-Saint-Germain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. NightHawks BTV's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihai Măgurean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxim Frunză showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Oanță in the 80th minute of the match. Maxim Miheș's late challenge caught a NightHawks BTV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxim Miheș helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of NightHawks BTV booed when Paris-Saint-Germain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Miheș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aron Chirtoacă in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horia Moiș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, Vali Stârcea notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of NightHawks BTV's Maxim Frunză. Maxim Frunză was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The NightHawks BTV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing NightHawks BTV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
