When Rareș Nițulescu fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored London FC's protests and gave Rareș Nițulescu a yellow card for diving instead. Rareș Nițulescu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Mihai Măgurean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but London FC's Adolfo Beat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iago Aspas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Maxim Frunză skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Iago Aspas took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxim Frunză. Maxim Frunză dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 25 minutes into the game, Júnior Lukaku recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maxim Frunză. Júnior Lukaku showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 31st minute, London FC's Iago Aspas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Iago Aspass short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Maxim Frunză to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 40 played minutes London FC got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Antohi. Iago Aspas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Maxim Frunză skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in London FC's zone, Mihai Măgurean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Beat came out of the goal and Mihai Măgurean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

53 minutes into the match, NightHawks BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Gigi Bara came free, but Maxim Frunză reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxim Frunză stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iago Aspas's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After 56 played minutes NightHawks BTV got a freekick which was hit by Mihăiţă Achifoaiei. Constantin Antohi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maxim Frunză. NightHawks BTV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to London FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Laurențiu Agusoaei hit a great ball. Maxim Frunză came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by London FC's Júnior Lukaku. But to his dismay, Júnior Lukaku quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 80 played minutes London FC got a freekick which was hit by Júnior Lukaku. 83 minutes into the match, NightHawks BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Iago Aspas came free, but Maxim Frunză reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to London FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Rareș Nițulescu hit a great ball. Maxim Frunză made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iago Aspas in the 86th minute of play. Adolfo Beat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Chirtoacă, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Rareș Nițulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. London FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
