An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Macrea in the 13th minute of play forced NightHawks BTV's goalkeeper Maxim Frunză to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aron Chirtoacă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihai Măgureans short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Corneliu Bălanescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The NightHawks BTV players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dinamo Bucureşti were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Sergiu Macrea made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, NightHawks BTV's Mihai Măgurean nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corneliu Bălanescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Aron Chirtoacă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute.
