DDP's supporters rose to their feet, but Șerban Lăzărescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugen Bălan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mihail Irimescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Banica in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Șerban Lăzărescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Fc Star Srl's Iustin Banica made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihail Irimescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filip Zărnescu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Mihail Irimescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iustin Banica in the 76th minute. Mihail Romulus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Eugen Bălan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iustin Banica blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihail Irimescu having to make a save.
