Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. COPACABANA's Cristi Drăghincescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Mustăcilă in the 10th minute of play. Vintilă Mustăcilă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, COPACABANA's Anton Blănaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Irinel Beniuc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Petrică Pacuraru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irinel Beniuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Mirea, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Corbeanca booed when COPACABANA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Argăseală didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliodor Jula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cristi Drăghincescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vintilă Mustăcilă was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Vintilă Mustăcilă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corbeanca's supporters rose to their feet, but Vintilă Mustăcilă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristi Drăghincescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sorin Hidiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Vintilă Mustăcilă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristi Drăghincescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Petrică Pacuraru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The COPACABANA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After 95 minutes of play, Corbeanca's Vintilă Mustăcilă made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristi Drăghincescu was left in no man's land by his defense there!
