After a defensive mix-up in Panic's zone, Răzvan Mateescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Macavei came out of the goal and Răzvan Mateescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Gabriel Macavei successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 20th match minute, Panic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irinel Donici to maneuver through the defense. Panic's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emil Buciuman in the 28th minute. After taking down the ball on Panic's corner Emil Buciuman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emanuel Iancu quite easily take care of the ball. Remus Ruşdea took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Iancu. Emanuel Iancu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Răzvan Bornescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dacian Aanicăi during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Panic booed when FC YoUnG BoYs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dacian Aanicăi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remus Ruşdea in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Iancu saved FC YoUnG BoYs from getting behind. Paul Sandu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Macavei having to interfere. Irinel Donici hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Paul Sandu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gabriel Macavei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Macavei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Sandu in the 49th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remus Ruşdea to strike the kick off in the second half. Remus Ruşdea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Iancu having to interfere. Panic's Valeriu Petrea got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Irinel Donici in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Iancu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Iosif Ungur fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC YoUnG BoYs's protests and gave Iosif Ungur a yellow card for diving instead. Iosif Ungur hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Emanuel Iancu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valeriu Petrea in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Panic's zone, Paul Sandu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Macavei came out of the goal and Paul Sandu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Ruşdea in the 75th minute of play forced FC YoUnG BoYs's goalkeeper Emanuel Iancu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, Panic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Răzvan Bornescu to maneuver through the defense. Răzvan Mateescu scored 1-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Macavei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabriel Macavei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Sandu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Irinel Donici kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Valeriu Petrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Mateescu in the 97th minute of play forced Panic's goalkeeper Gabriel Macavei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
