Anton Șeitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nechifor Brumă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Șeitan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nechifor Brumă's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Nechifor Brumă scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anton Șeitan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anton Șeitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Baniu in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Mihăiţă Colceriu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC CJArena's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihăiţă Colceriu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 79th minute Octav Zglobiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Surdu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC CJArena booed when FC Steaua Bucuresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Răuțchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Steaua Bucuresti's Adrian Surdu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Zglobiu in the 82nd minute of play. If Florin Baniu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florin Baniu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 89th playminute. FC Steaua Bucuresti's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
