Ştefan Buteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Jder in the 22nd minute of the match. Luca Jder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ştefan Buteanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduard Neculce went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Ionică Dulgherescu came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Oiejdea CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionică Dulgherescu couldn't finish the play. Marius Aluneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduard Neculce was the one to do the kick off. Marius Aluneanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordache Curuțiu having to interfere. Oiejdea CSM's Luca Jder got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes in the game, Eduard Neculce fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ştefan Buteanu having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Dinu Stamate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Oiejdea CSM's zone, Nicodim Buhoiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iordache Curuțiu came out of the goal and Nicodim Buhoiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Nicodim Buhoiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iordache Curuțiu. Oiejdea CSM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicodim Buhoiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A collision led to YUVENTUS TORINO getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gică Avădanei hit a great ball. Ştefan Buteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Neculce in the 97th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Oiejdea CSM players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for YUVENTUS TORINO.
