Iordache Curuțiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Bălace in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Moise Bălace lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Iordache Curuțiu. In the 13th minute, Sandu Tadici got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Moise Bălace sped through Oiejdea CSM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iordache Curuțiu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorin Iosif got free with Iordache Curuțiu in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aurelian Pacuraru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandu Tadici blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iordache Curuțiu having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Varati FC's Moise Bălace slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iordache Curuțiu. That made the score 3-0 after 25 minutes of play. 29 minutes into the match, Moise Bălace notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Oiejdea CSM's Iordache Curuțiu. Iordache Curuțiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sandu Tadici hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Nicolae Gorjanu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Moise Bălace fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordache Curuțiu having to interfere. Sandu Tadici succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 43rd playminute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduard Neculce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Moise Bălace had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sandu Tadici came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Varati FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandu Tadici couldn't finish the play. Iordache Curuțiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Bălace in the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Oiejdea CSM's Marin Ghionaru got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Moise Bălace ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iordache Curuțiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Moise Bălace sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Moise Bălace received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Iordache Curuțiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sandu Tadici's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iordache Curuțiu was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Aristide Bulă charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorin Iosif during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Varati FC's Dorin Iosif got a free kick in the 95th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Varati FC's zone, Luca Jder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marin Minulescu came out of the goal and Luca Jder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Varati FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
