Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narcis Ivănescu during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Mihăiţă Colceriu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octav Zglobiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Iancu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Răzvan Mateescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC YoUnG BoYs's supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Mateescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Șeitan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
