The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Iacob Lupulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ştefan Buteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Ion Andone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nicodim Buhoiu made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in YUVENTUS TORINO's zone, Iacob Lupulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ştefan Buteanu came out of the goal and Iacob Lupulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 51 minutes, Dinu Stamate mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YUVENTUS TORINO and the FC SPIRIT players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Dinu Stamate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for YUVENTUS TORINO! In the 77th minute, Iacob Lupulescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC SPIRIT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 83 minutes into the match, YUVENTUS TORINO's goalkeeper Ştefan Buteanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iacob Lupulescu. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Gigel Blidaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC SPIRIT's supporters rose to their feet, but Gigel Blidaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ştefan Buteanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Istrătescu's late challenge caught a FC SPIRIT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Istrătescu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to YUVENTUS TORINO getting a freekick after 97 minutes play.
