Spectators: 7518 (Terracing: 5639, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eusebiu Manciulea took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marin Ciolofan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gabriel Macavei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Macavei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Marin Ciolofan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Macavei having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remus Ruşdea was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Marin Ciolofan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eusebiu Manciulea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Macavei having to interfere. Gabriel Macavei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebiu Manciulea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorin Horodincă charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorin Horodincă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, Panic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Horodincă to maneuver through the defense. Dumitru Neagoe, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Eusebiu Manciulea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beclenut's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebiu Manciulea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Macavei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 81 minutes, Marin Ciolofan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beclenut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marin Ciolofan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusebiu Manciulea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Gabriel Macavei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Manciulea in the 95th minute of play. Beclenut were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
