The supporters of FC Policub Ghiroda booed when MAX TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Răuțu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the MAX TEAM defense, Iurie Drăgănoiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucrețiu Turcan. The MAX TEAM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucrețiu Turcan should have stopped the shot. Eusebiu Cozmâncă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucrețiu Turcan having to interfere. Lucrețiu Turcan made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Iurie Drăgănoiu sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to FC Policub Ghiroda getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Basarab Iorga hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, MAX TEAM's Leonard Siclovan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Iurie Drăgănoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eusebiu Cozmâncă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Tudor Nacu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Ipate was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The MAX TEAM fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when MAX TEAM's Adam Mailat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 44 minutes, Iurie Drăgănoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Policub Ghiroda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iurie Drăgănoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half MAX TEAM were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Emil Ipate made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tudor Nacu sent off a good shot on target. Radu Andronache hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A collision led to MAX TEAM getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Leonard Siclovan hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Leonard Siclovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Adam Mailat fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAX TEAM's protests and gave Adam Mailat a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, MAX TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Mailat to maneuver through the defense. Iurie Drăgănoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Lucrețiu Turcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Cozmâncă in the 68th minute of play. Iurie Drăgănoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucrețiu Turcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Cozmâncă, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Adam Mailat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FC Policub Ghiroda's Emil Ipate got control of the ball when Tudor Nacu tried to sneak it across the goal line.
