Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maxim Iftimescu started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Luca Tarchilă notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Candelele's Petre Mironescu. Petre Mironescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maxim Iftimescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Isac Abutnăriței skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 10thth minute of the game Maxim Iftimescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stiinta's Isac Abutnăriței was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Niculae Dragota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niculae Dragota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusebiu Moldovan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Maxim Iftimescu put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Isac Abutnăriței. When Constantin Tătaru fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stiinta's protests and gave Constantin Tătaru a yellow card for diving instead. Luca Tarchilă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Petre Mironescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Candelele's Maxim Iftimescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isac Abutnăriței. That made the score 2-1 after 23 minutes of play. 27 minutes into the match, Stiinta's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Nasta came free, but Isac Abutnăriței reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ioan Mereuță hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Isac Abutnăriței made an important save on a dangerous shot by Panait Stârcea in the 29th minute. Luca Tarchilă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Petre Mironescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maxim Iftimescus short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Isac Abutnăriței to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Niculae Dragota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxim Iftimescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Isac Abutnăriței tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Călin Nasta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Isac Abutnăriței made a huge save. Maxim Iftimescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niculae Dragota might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isac Abutnăriței. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niculae Dragota ran back to his position shaking his head. 43 minutes into the match, Candelele's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Ticulescu came free, but Petre Mironescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Maxim Iftimescu put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Isac Abutnăriței. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Aristide Ticulescu made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Maxim Iftimescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stiinta's Isac Abutnăriței was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Narcis Opincaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candelele's supporters rose to their feet, but Narcis Opincaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isac Abutnăriței breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maxim Iftimescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Abutnăriței having to interfere. When Candelele's Maxim Iftimescu in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stiinta's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Stiinta's zone, Panait Stârcea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Abutnăriței came out of the goal and Panait Stârcea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Stiinta getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Eusebiu Moldovan hit a great ball. Isac Abutnăriței stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maxim Iftimescu's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Niculae Dragota took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isac Abutnăriței. Stiinta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stiinta's Isac Abutnăriței played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Iftimescu in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxim Iftimescu in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isac Abutnăriței prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maxim Iftimescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Isac Abutnăriței tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Ticulescu in the 84th minute of play forced Candelele's goalkeeper Petre Mironescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxim Iftimescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Isac Abutnăriței tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Candelele's Maxim Iftimescu got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isac Abutnăriței took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panait Stârcea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxim Iftimescu in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isac Abutnăriței saved Stiinta from getting behind. After some careless play in the Stiinta defense, Maxim Iftimescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isac Abutnăriței. The Stiinta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isac Abutnăriței should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Candelele players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
