Candelele's supporters rose to their feet, but Maxim Iftimescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucrețiu Turcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adam Mailat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the match, Candelele's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Mailat came free, but Petre Mironescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candelele's Maxim Iftimescu got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to MAX TEAM getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ivan Arghiroiu hit a great ball. Maxim Iftimescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucrețiu Turcan having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in MAX TEAM's zone, Maxim Iftimescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucrețiu Turcan came out of the goal and Maxim Iftimescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maxim Iftimescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costică Volosin kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Călin Nasta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucrețiu Turcan having to interfere. A very good chance. When Candelele's Maxim Iftimescu in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Candelele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxim Iftimescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucrețiu Turcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Nasta in the 40th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Mailat to strike the kick off in the second half. Călin Nasta was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Panait Stârcea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maxim Iftimescu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Lucrețiu Turcan 56 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Tudor Nacu managed to get in a good position for a shot. MAX TEAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Tudor Nacu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petre Mironescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petre Mironescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Mailat, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Maxim Iftimescu in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucrețiu Turcan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 66th minute, Maxim Iftimescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Candelele's Maxim Iftimescu got a free kick in the 68th minute. Andrei Răuțu's late challenge caught a Candelele's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrei Răuțu helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes MAX TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Andrei Răuțu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxim Iftimescu in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucrețiu Turcan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pompiliu Olteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Maxim Iftimescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxim Iftimescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Ivan Arghiroiu made a precise shot to the right of Petre Mironescu. Candelele's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. MAX TEAM's Costică Volosin got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, Panait Stârcea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Candelele's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAX TEAM the free kick. Panait Stârcea kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Leonard Siclovan struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Petre Mironescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAX TEAM. Sorin Papadima hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Leonard Siclovan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petre Mironescu skillfully saved the ball. Petre Mironescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Geantă, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Many of Candelele's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Candelele may have spent more time on the ball, but MAX TEAM were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
