Iacob Olteanu's late challenge caught a Arcalia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iacob Olteanu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Prundu United getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Iacob Olteanu hit a great ball. Vintilă Ţintă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Corbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9thth minute of the game Petre Scorţea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Prundu United's Vintilă Ţintă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Marian Manciu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prundu United's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Manciu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Pomuț breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Pomuț made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iacob Olteanu in the 12th minute. In the 22nd minute Marian Manciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Pomuț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iacob Olteanu came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cristian Pomuț could save by the left post. Vintilă Ţintă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Corbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodor Corbea in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vintilă Ţintă saved Prundu United from getting behind. Iacob Olteanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Cristian Pomuț made a huge save. Cristian Pomuț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Bernea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After having played for 51 minutes, Teodor Corbea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arcalia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodor Corbea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petre Scorţea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Vintilă Ţintă made a huge save. Vintilă Ţintă was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Teodor Corbea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teodor Corbea really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 57th minute, Romeo Loga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernest Bernea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cristian Pomuț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Petre Scorţea made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Prundu United's Vintilă Ţintă tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Prundu United's Vintilă Ţintă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Prundu United from getting a goal against them. Vintilă Ţintă came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Arcalia's Teodor Corbea. But to his dismay, Teodor Corbea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Corbea in the 78th minute of play forced Prundu United's goalkeeper Vintilă Ţintă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Iacob Olteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Stelian Spiru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arcalia's supporters rose to their feet, but Stelian Spiru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vintilă Ţintă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodor Corbea struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Vintilă Ţintă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arcalia. 87 minutes into the match, Petre Scorţea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vintilă Ţintă, 0-5. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Prundu United's goalkeeper Vintilă Ţintă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vintilă Ţintă was a little too slow when Ion Nisipeanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-6. Arcalia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
