Eliodor Tecău was a little too slow when Emil Tache got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ştefan Grigore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dacian Gurzău having to make a save. If Cosmin Neicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Paiuseni's Emil Tache sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eliodor Tecău narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Nicodim Stoicescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paiuseni's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicodim Stoicescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliodor Tecău breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Viltotesti getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sever Cângea hit a great ball. The supporters of Paiuseni booed when Viltotesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Dulfu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Tudor Aldulescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eliodor Tecău quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Emil Tache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nicodim Stoicescu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 53 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eliodor Tecău was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Emil Tache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliodor Tecău having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Viltotesti's goal looked a bit too open when Nicodim Stoicescu came free, but Eliodor Tecău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Tache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Eliodor Tecău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodim Stoicescu in the 64th minute of play forced Viltotesti's goalkeeper Eliodor Tecău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil Tache in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliodor Tecău prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute, Nicodim Stoicescu made a precise shot to the right of Eliodor Tecău. Viltotesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Eliodor Tecău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Tache, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Viltotesti's Eliodor Tecău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Tache in the 79th minute of play. Eliodor Tecău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicodim Stoicescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The long shot by Petrică Muntean in the 92nd minute really tested Dacian Gurzău's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Paiuseni's Emil Tache got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
