Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pavel Drăucean started the match with the kick off. If Marcu Văcărescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panait Drăgoescu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Panait Drăgoescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marcu Văcărescu came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the FC Sustiu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcu Văcărescu couldn't finish the play. A throw-in in the 16th minute of the game was made by Mihăiţă Logofătu with Damian Prezan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 18 minutes into the match, Iustinian Pricop notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Sustiu's Pavel Ruşdea. Pavel Ruşdea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the match, FC Sustiu's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Anghel came free, but Pavel Ruşdea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinand Boia charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinand Boia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pavel Ruşdea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Anghel in the 31st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marcu Văcărescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorel Novac was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Codruț Gârbovan took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pavel Ruşdea. Pavel Ruşdea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Marcu Văcărescu in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dorel Novac, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fabian Bulă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dorel Novac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Albert Bulzan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panait Drăgoescu lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Sustiu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Dolhesti. Cazimir Astafei stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pavel Ruşdea. 0-4. After the first half Dolhesti were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcu Văcărescu was the one to do the kick off. Șerban Vâlcu hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, FC Sustiu's goal looked a bit too open when Iustinian Pricop came free, but Pavel Ruşdea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavel Ruşdea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Gârbovan in the 59th minute of play. Pavel Ruşdea was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Iustinian Pricop capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iustinian Pricop really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. When Marcu Văcărescu came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the FC Sustiu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcu Văcărescu couldn't finish the play. FC Sustiu's Șerban Vâlcu got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of FC Sustiu booed when Dolhesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Boia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavel Ruşdea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Pricop in the 70th minute of the match. If Marcu Văcărescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marcu Văcărescu came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the FC Sustiu fans jumped to their feet. In the 75th minute of the game Cazimir Astafei made a throw-in which Cristian Anghel played forward. In the 79thth minute of the game Marcu Văcărescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dolhesti's Dorel Novac was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute, Dolhesti's Pavel Drăucean ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pavel Ruşdea. Pavel Ruşdea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Cazimir Astafei made in the 87th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pavel Drăucean immediately put the ball in play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Marcu Văcărescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Sustiu's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcu Văcărescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorel Novac breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dorel Novac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Bulă in the 90th minute of play. FC Sustiu's Marcu Văcărescu got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Dolhesti fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Dolhesti's Cristian Anghel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Dolhesti's zone, Marcu Văcărescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorel Novac came out of the goal and Marcu Văcărescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pavel Ruşdea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Anghel in the 97th minute. After 98 played minutes FC Sustiu got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Vâlcu. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dolhesti walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
