Spectators: 7282 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dorin Volosin made the kick off which started today's match. Petre Berevoescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorin Volosin went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Petruț Lechințan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valeriu Susara having to make a save. 9 minutes into the match, Hulestii CF's Nae Diaconescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hulestii CF's zone, Nicolae Oprescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petre Berevoescu came out of the goal and Nicolae Oprescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 minutes, Mugurel Hristea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hulestii CF and the Manchester United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mugurel Hristea kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Petre Berevoescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorin Volosin, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Eduard Gliga kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 26th minute Dorin Volosin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Berevoescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valeriu Susara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Lechințan in the 29th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Dorin Volosin rounded Hulestii CF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. With a little luck, Hulestii CF's Petre Berevoescu got control of the ball when Nicolae Oprescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Ştefan Nicolaescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hulestii CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ştefan Nicolaescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ştefan Nicolaescu was the one to do the kick off. Dorin Volosin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Petre Berevoescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorin Volosin took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petre Berevoescu. Petre Berevoescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 60th minute, Ştefan Nicolaescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dorin Volosin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petre Berevoescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Oprescu in the 65th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Dorin Volosin put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Petre Berevoescu. Ştefan Nicolaescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Valeriu Susara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hulestii CF's Ştefan Nicolaescu got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Valeriu Susara managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Hulestii CF's Ştefan Nicolaescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ştefan Nicolaescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeriu Susara having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Petruț Lechințan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Manchester United FC had won after a very even match.
