Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nae Curăreanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Horaţiu Butuc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlad Floricel in the 10th minute of play. After 12 played minutes FC ADORF CC IIIIIIII got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Floricel. A collision led to OTELUL GALATI getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Felix Voica hit a great ball. Flavius Ipate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nae Curăreanu in the 16th minute of play. Iosif Urdeş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iosif Urdeş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Horaţiu Butuc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilian Cînu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavius Ipate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nae Curăreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorin Dejeu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Iosif Urdeş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Vlad Floricel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ADORF CC IIIIIIII's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vlad Floricel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC ADORF CC IIIIIIII's Vlad Floricel got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 35 played minutes OTELUL GALATI got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Teodor. If Romeo Baniciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horaţiu Butuc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlad Floricel in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 played minutes FC ADORF CC IIIIIIII got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Teişanu. Nae Curăreanu struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Flavius Ipate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OTELUL GALATI. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Flavius Ipate came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by OTELUL GALATI's Emilian Cînu. But to his dismay, Emilian Cînu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Iosif Urdeş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Butuc having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Iosif Urdeş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manole Cândroveanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Iosif Urdeş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ADORF CC IIIIIIII's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iosif Urdeş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavius Ipate made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narcis Teodor in the 92nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as OTELUL GALATI's Nae Curăreanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flavius Ipate. That made the score 0-3 after 94 minutes of play. A collision led to OTELUL GALATI getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Emilian Cînu hit a great ball. The OTELUL GALATI supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing OTELUL GALATI would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
