Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Răzvan Ghișerel took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes Cintulei got a freekick which was hit by Cătălin Iuonaș. In the 8th minute Ciprian Pora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Arvinte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute Răzvan Ghișerel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgil Isaia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 played minutes Dianul UFC got a freekick which was hit by Ciprian Bădulescu. When Filip Iorgulescu came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Cintulei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Iorgulescu couldn't finish the play. Ciprian Pora struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Albert Arvinte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dianul UFC. After 21 played minutes Dianul UFC got a freekick which was hit by Gigel Ţintă. Răzvan Ghișerel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Virgil Isaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Răzvan Ghișerel in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgil Isaia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gigel Găvănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Dianul UFC booed when Cintulei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Iorgulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgil Isaia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Răzvan Ghișerel's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Dianul UFC's Costel Răduța got a free kick in the 42nd minute. If Răzvan Ghișerel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Răzvan Ghișerel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Virgil Isaia came out and tried to block the shot, but Răzvan Ghișerel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Traian Barbu to strike the kick off in the second half. Răzvan Ghișerel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Virgil Isaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Răzvan Ghișerel in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgil Isaia saved Dianul UFC from getting behind. Dianul UFC's Virgil Isaia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Ghișerel in the 61st minute of play. Ciprian Pora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Arvinte having to interfere. In the 67th minute Traian Barbu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Arvinte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cătălin Iuonaș kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Gigel Găvănescu scored 2-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgil Isaia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91stth minute of the game Răzvan Ghișerel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dianul UFC's Virgil Isaia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gigel Ţintă's late challenge caught a Cintulei's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gigel Ţintă helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Dianul UFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gigel Ţintă hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Cintulei were the better team. Cintulei's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
