Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Moise Luncașu made the kick off and thus started the match. Doru Mitică received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Horia Potra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norby FC TEAM's Andrei Ţirpe pulled a muscle in his back after 6 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 7th minute, Augustin Bejan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mădălin Jerca came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Norby FC TEAM's Iurie Ştefănică. But to his dismay, Iurie Ştefănică quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ioan Logofeteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horia Potra having to interfere. After 17 played minutes CFR 1907 CLUJ got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Bejan. The supporters of CFR 1907 CLUJ booed when Norby FC TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Găină didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Doru Mitică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Potra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CFR 1907 CLUJ's Mădălin Jerca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save CFR 1907 CLUJ from getting a goal against them. If Gavril Bogatu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ioan Logofeteanu missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 43 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Horia Potra right hand side. 44 minutes into the match, Norby FC TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Tase came free, but Horia Potra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Norby FC TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Ioan Logofeteanu came free, but Horia Potra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Doru Mitică managed to get in a good position for a shot. CFR 1907 CLUJ's supporters rose to their feet, but Doru Mitică was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horia Potra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half CFR 1907 CLUJ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doru Mitică was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Gavril Bogatu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CFR 1907 CLUJ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavril Bogatu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 58 minutes, Gavril Bogatu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Norby FC TEAM's zone, Gavril Bogatu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horia Potra came out of the goal and Gavril Bogatu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horia Potra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doru Mitică went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Tudor Tase sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Doru Mitică fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Horia Potra, passed just outside the right post. In the 76th minute, Tudor Tase got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iurie Ştefănică kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When Sergiu Ţirpe came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Norby FC TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergiu Ţirpe couldn't finish the play. Tudor Tase kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. CFR 1907 CLUJ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
