Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luca Cezar started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Fabian Urducea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Urducea's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sebastian Juverdeanu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Șerban Birișu kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Luca Cezar struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Sebastian Juverdeanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borasti. Mugurel Tastaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisc Agachi in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Corneliu Alb was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borasti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Latoi the free kick. Corneliu Alb kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Latoi's Răzvan Baștină tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Francisc Agachi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute Luca Cezar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Juverdeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Claudiu Lăcătușu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisc Agachi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mugurel Tastaman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisc Agachi made a kick off. A collision led to Borasti getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Fabian Urducea hit a great ball. If Luca Cezar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Latoi defense, Luca Cezar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Juverdeanu. The Latoi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Juverdeanu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Urducea in the 68th minute of play forced Latoi's goalkeeper Sebastian Juverdeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Claudiu Lăcătușu put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mugurel Tastaman. Francisc Agachi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Juverdeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Cezar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Claudiu Lăcătușu came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Latoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudiu Lăcătușu couldn't finish the play. Mugurel Tastaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisc Agachi, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Latoi players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Borasti from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
