Spectators: 6919 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 9th minute, one of Luhei AS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Luhei AS. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for FC Fortuna. Bogdan Nistorescu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Iacob Hârtopanu. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Contra in the 13th minute of play forced FC Fortuna's goalkeeper Călin Bădoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Călin Bădoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan David in the 14th minute. Iacob Hârtopanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Movileanu in the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Dragoş Bourceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Fortuna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dragoş Bourceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iacob Hârtopanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Movileanu's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The supporters of FC Fortuna booed when Luhei AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Bara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luca Flintașu kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Ivan Movileanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luhei AS's Iacob Hârtopanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Călin Bădoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Drăgoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Luhei AS getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Romeo Bara hit a great ball. Basarab Mihăescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee gave FC Fortuna a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bogdan Nistorescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Luhei AS's Iacob Hârtopanu. 1-3. Basarab Mihăescu scored 1-4 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iacob Hârtopanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Luhei AS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Fortuna were winning 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivan Movileanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Contra scored 2-4 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Călin Bădoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Ivan Movileanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iacob Hârtopanu was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Iacob Hârtopanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoş Bourceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Luhei AS's Romeo Bara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Călin Bădoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Călin Bădoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Bara in the 64th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Luhei AS's goalkeeper Iacob Hârtopanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Movileanu. With his leg Iacob Hârtopanu managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when FC Fortuna's Ivan Movileanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ivan David took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Călin Bădoi. Călin Bădoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. In the 77th minute Basarab Mihăescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Hârtopanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Movileanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Iacob Hârtopanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 85 minutes on the clock, Liviu Albescu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Liviu Albescu hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Luca Flintașu's late challenge caught a Luhei AS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 89 played minutes, Luhei AS's Emanuel Contra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Călin Bădoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Luhei AS reached it. Călin Bădoi came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Luhei AS's Ivan David. But to his dismay, Ivan David quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4. If Ivan Movileanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute Ivan Movileanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Hârtopanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luhei AS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Fortuna for a fine match.
