Ivan David struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Florin Postolache didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luhei AS. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Octav Drăgoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luhei AS's supporters rose to their feet, but Octav Drăgoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Postolache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan David in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florin Postolache saved Langenfeld CSS from getting behind. Fabian Banu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute, Emanuel Contra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan David's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florin Postolache read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Florin Postolache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Drăgoi in the 31st minute of the match. If Vali Nichitelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan David scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florin Postolache, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octav Drăgoi was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Langenfeld CSS got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Argăseală. 54 minutes into the match, Langenfeld CSS's goalkeeper Florin Postolache had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan David. When Luhei AS's Octav Drăgoi in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Florin Postolache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Drăgoi in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Octav Drăgoi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Langenfeld CSS's Florin Postolache. Florin Postolache was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 71 minutes into the game, Iustin Popescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Langenfeld CSS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luhei AS the free kick. The supporters of Luhei AS booed when Langenfeld CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustin Popescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luhei AS's Leontin Gorjanu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Florin Postolache but with some difficulty. In the 74th minute, Ivan David fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With his leg Florin Postolache managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Luhei AS's Ivan David fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Octav Drăgoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Postolache having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Langenfeld CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codruț Argăseală to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Octav Drăgoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Octav Drăgoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Vali Nichitelea managed to get in a good position for a shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florin Postolache prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded Luhei AS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Langenfeld CSS.
