When Horea Pârlog came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Juventus-Cj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horea Pârlog couldn't finish the play. Eduard Alucai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus-Cj's zone, Sever Berceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugen Pârvuță came out of the goal and Sever Berceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodor Vasilian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horea Pârlog in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Gelu Chiru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hunters 2004's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus-Cj the free kick. In the 26th minute, Gelu Chiru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Emil Frunză came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Hunters 2004 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Frunză couldn't finish the play. Hunters 2004's Teodor Vasilian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Alucai in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Eduard Alucai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodor Vasilian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sever Berceanu scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugen Pârvuță, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emil Frunză recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emil Frunză to strike the kick off in the second half. Marius Negrilă charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Juventus-Cj booed when Hunters 2004 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Balaban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horea Pârlog was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Eduard Alucai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gelu Chiru was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. After 68 played minutes Hunters 2004 got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Chiru. Juventus-Cj's Șerban Basarabescu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hunters 2004. If Eduard Alucai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes in the game, Horea Pârlog fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Teodor Vasilian having to interfere. Juventus-Cj's supporters rose to their feet, but Horea Pârlog was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodor Vasilian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
