Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vali Gârleanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ionuț Bercea went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When Ionuț Bercea came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the F.C. Gunners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionuț Bercea couldn't finish the play. Filip Buzoianu struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Vali Gârleanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Gunners. F.C. Gunners's Eliodor Varga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Donecea in the 29th minute of play. With a little luck, Păsări Roșii's Vali Gârleanu got control of the ball when Ionuț Bercea tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Filip Buzoianu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Traian Caloian fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Gunners's protests and gave Traian Caloian a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, F.C. Gunners's Traian Caloian got a free kick in the 35th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristi Chindriș was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Păsări Roșii's Fabian Enoaia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After some careless play in the Păsări Roșii defense, Ionuț Bercea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vali Gârleanu. The Păsări Roșii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vali Gârleanu should have stopped the shot. Vali Gârleanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Buzoianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tudor Şantău during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, Tudor Şantău hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Filip Buzoianu came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the F.C. Doru Donecea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Eliodor Varga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Ionuț Bercea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vali Gârleanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristi Chindriș blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliodor Varga having to make a save. The supporters of Păsări Roșii booed when F.C. Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionuț Hagi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
