Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the PG FC defense, Martin Chițes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Calistrat Cîrțu. The PG FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calistrat Cîrțu should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornel Hrean got free with Calistrat Cîrțu in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vlad Ştefănoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Claudiescu in the 18th minute of play. Vlad Ştefănoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Iacob, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Calistrat Cîrțu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ioan Stolniceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, PG FC's goalkeeper Calistrat Cîrțu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cornel Hrean. Ioan Stolniceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narcis Voican received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Calistrat Cîrțu came out and tried to block the shot, but Narcis Voican slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 35th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Ioan Stolniceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batcari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ioan Stolniceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ioan Stolniceanu made a kick off. After 51 played minutes PG FC got a freekick which was hit by Florin Răuțu. After 59 minutes, Ovidiu Bivolaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Batcari and the PG FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Batcari:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of PG FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Vlad Ştefănoiu, was totally fooled by PG FC's Nae Marica, who 61 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The crowd rose to their feet as PG FC's Flavius Claudiescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vlad Ştefănoiu. That made the score 4-2 after 71 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Claudiescu in the 74th minute of play forced Batcari's goalkeeper Vlad Ştefănoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PG FC's Calistrat Cîrțu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ioan Stolniceanu in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, PG FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudor Iacob to maneuver through the defense. Nae Marica charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nae Marica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Nae Marica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Chițes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Batcari's Vlad Ştefănoiu got control of the ball when Tudor Iacob tried to sneak it across the goal line. Calistrat Cîrțu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ioan Stolniceanu's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Batcari getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Narcis Voican hit a great ball. After 96 played minutes Batcari got a freekick which was hit by Martin Chițes. Batcari's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
