Vali Gârleanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codruț Griguță in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Păsări Roșii's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Griguță came free, but Vali Gârleanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Păsări Roșii's Vali Gârleanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codruț Griguță in the 39th minute of play. Tudor Şantău recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Codruț Griguță stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Doru Donecea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Păsări Roșii's supporters rose to their feet, but Doru Donecea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernest Pârvuță breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the game, Grigore Baba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Păsări Roșii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo La Coruna the free kick. In the 60th match minute, Păsări Roșii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Baba to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 61 minutes, Vintilă Lipan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valentin Jurcuț kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. If Panait Poplăcean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tudor Şantău kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Deportivo La Coruna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vintilă Lipan in the 98th minute. Deportivo La Coruna were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Păsări Roșii for a fine match.
