After a rather tough play, Danesti's Victor Molodețiu got a free kick in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Pompiliu Filipașcu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Costel Teofil was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC viitorul braila's Ernest Moșoiu got a free kick in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Pompiliu Filipașcu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Danesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC viitorul braila the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Danesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pompiliu Filipașcu to maneuver through the defense. FC viitorul braila's Costel Teofil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save FC viitorul braila from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pompiliu Filipașcu made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC viitorul braila's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Cazan came free, but Costel Teofil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pompiliu Filipașcu came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Danesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pompiliu Filipașcu couldn't finish the play. Andrei Lucan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Codruț Nae skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pompiliu Filipașcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Costel Teofil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. FC viitorul braila's Costel Teofil tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pompiliu Filipașcu in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costel Teofil saved FC viitorul braila from getting behind. Codruț Nae made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrei Lucan in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Ştefănucă in the 92nd minute of play forced FC viitorul braila's goalkeeper Costel Teofil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costel Teofil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pompiliu Filipașcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Danesti fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC viitorul braila had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
