A very good chance for a goal. Budieni's Fabian Mincu got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Rojistea UFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dorel Hapaina hit a great ball. Călin Buteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Mincu in the 11th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciprian Cercelescu in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nistor Dobre saved Budieni from getting behind. Ciprian Cercelescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Dobre having to interfere. Fabian Mincu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Rojistea UFC's Daniel Ailioaiei got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Constantin Homescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Buteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Călin Buteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Homescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Călin Buteanu came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Budieni's Constantin Homescu. But to his dismay, Constantin Homescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Rojistea UFC booed when Budieni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Chirea didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fabian Mincu came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Budieni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Mincu couldn't finish the play. George Stanca kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantin Homescu to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Rojistea UFC's Dorel Hapaina got a free kick in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Rojistea UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Homescu came free, but Călin Buteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristide Chevereșan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nistor Dobre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rojistea UFC's Dan Teaşcă got a free kick in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantin Homescu in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Călin Buteanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Budieni's Fabian Mincu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Călin Buteanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Budieni's Fabian Mincu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After 70 minutes, Aristide Chevereșan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rojistea UFC and the Budieni players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rojistea UFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Aristide Chevereșan hit a great ball. If Fabian Mincu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciprian Cercelescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nistor Dobre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Viorel Archiudean fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Budieni's protests and gave Viorel Archiudean a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rojistea UFC booed when Budieni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viorel Archiudean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Călin Buteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Homescu in the 82nd minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Budieni got a freekick which was hit by George Stanca. Budieni's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
