The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Mincu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Leontin Giuverdea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Constantin Homescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Giuverdea having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Constantin Homescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leontin Giuverdea. ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆®'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Constantin Homescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Constantin Homescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Gheorghe Olteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 minutes, Pompiliu Cârțan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆® and the Budieni players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Budieni booed when ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pompiliu Cârțan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leontin Giuverdea was a little too slow when Fabian Mincu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. Leontin Giuverdea acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marcel Hortopan. Claudiu Chirea kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆®'s Denis Hogaș tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Leontin Giuverdea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Mincu in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆®'s Filip Căplescu got a free kick in the 39th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gheorghe Olteanu made a kick off. Leontin Giuverdea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Mincu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Viorel Archiudean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆®'s goalkeeper Leontin Giuverdea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claudiu Chirea's late challenge caught a ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆®'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudiu Chirea helped the player get up and apologised. Claudiu Chirea hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Fabian Mincu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Giuverdea having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆®'s zone, Claudiu Chirea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leontin Giuverdea came out of the goal and Claudiu Chirea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Mincu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Giuverdea having to interfere. A collision led to ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆® getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Edgar Bocaneț hit a great ball. George Geambașu kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Fabian Mincu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Budieni booed when ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Doinaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leontin Giuverdea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Mincu in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆®'s zone, Fabian Mincu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leontin Giuverdea came out of the goal and Fabian Mincu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Budieni walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
