After a rather tough play, Oliver's Vlad Sucigan got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 12th minute, Gică Budulea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Teodor Stănoiu in the 15th minute really tested Toader Panin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Oliver's Teodor Stănoiu got a free kick in the 16th minute. Sorin Pârlog recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Codrin Suluțiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radu Hurmuzescu in the 20th minute of the match. Mihăiţă Nedelea scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Codrin Suluțiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Toader Panin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigi Şumălan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Şumălan in the 31st minute of play forced FCSB's goalkeeper Toader Panin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mihăiţă Nedelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FCSB's Toader Panin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save FCSB from getting a goal against them. FCSB's Toader Panin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Şumălan in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gigi Şumălan to strike the kick off in the second half. When FCSB's Sorin Pârlog in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oliver's goalie prevented a goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toader Panin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Videanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Sorin Pârlog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Codrin Suluțiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded FCSB left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oliver.
