Spectators: 7161 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 20) FCSB's Sorin Pârlog started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Toader Panin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Tărâţă in the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Sorin Pârlog got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Sorin Pârlog notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Extraordinario's Cristi Antipa. Cristi Antipa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the match, FCSB's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Anastasiu came free, but Toader Panin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Leontin Tărâţă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toader Panin. FCSB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leontin Tărâţă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Extraordinario's zone, Mihăiţă Nedelea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristi Antipa came out of the goal and Mihăiţă Nedelea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sorin Pârlog in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristi Antipa saved Extraordinario from getting behind. Toader Panin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Gherasim in the 33rd minute of play. Sandu Cordescu hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. FCSB's Sorin Pârlog came free and shot a quick shot against goal 35 minutes in the game, fortunately Cristi Antipa had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Toader Panin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Gherasim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radu Hurmuzescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Edgar Gherasim fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Extraordinario's protests and gave Edgar Gherasim a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Extraordinario getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Edgar Gherasim hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Sorin Pârlog sped through Extraordinario's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristi Antipa. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Sorin Pârlog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Olimpiu Anastasiu could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Toader Panin however easily saved by the left post. Radu Hurmuzescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Antipa having to interfere. Sorin Pârlog took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristi Antipa. Cristi Antipa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Mihăiţă Nedelea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristi Antipa having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sorin Pârlog in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristi Antipa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristi Antipa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Pârlog, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Sorin Pârlog struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Cristi Antipa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FCSB. Sorin Pârlog took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristi Antipa. Cristi Antipa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 85th match minute, FCSB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radu Hurmuzescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Sorin Pârlog got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Extraordinario's Cristi Antipa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Budulea in the 89th minute of play. FCSB's Vlad Dedu was substituted for Gică Budulea. Sandu Cordescu hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sorin Pârlog in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristi Antipa saved Extraordinario from getting behind. After some careless play in the Extraordinario defense, Sorin Pârlog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristi Antipa. The Extraordinario fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristi Antipa should have stopped the shot.
