Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Oliver's Marius Marioteanu got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After having played for 6 minutes, Pavel Măgherușan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hotesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Măgherușan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viorel Videanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Lupașcu having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, Hotesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlad Zăreanu to maneuver through the defense. Emil Paulică blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eric Lupașcu having to make a save. Hotesti's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romeo Ciompec in the 18th minute. Codrin Suluțiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Măgherușan in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hotesti's goalkeeper Eric Lupașcu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hotesti's Vlad Zăreanu got his second yellow card of the match in the 23rd minute. The referee ordered Vlad Zăreanu off the ground. A collision led to Hotesti getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Vlad Zăreanu hit a great ball. Iurie Ghiondea, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marius Marioteanu during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Oliver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Marioteanu to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Codrin Suluțiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Oliver's Codrin Suluțiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Oliver from getting a goal against them. Iordache Maleș who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Codrin Suluțiu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Narcis Reznic fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hotesti's protests and gave Narcis Reznic a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hotesti getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Narcis Reznic hit a great ball. Eric Lupașcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Paulică, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Narcis Reznic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hotesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Narcis Reznic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Codrin Suluțiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusebiu Inculeț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Codrin Suluțiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Lupașcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Paulică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Brumaru to make the kick off. Codrin Suluțiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebiu Inculeț's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Codrin Suluțiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebiu Inculeț in the 56th minute of the match. Eusebiu Inculeț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Oliver's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Măgherușan came free, but Codrin Suluțiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Eusebiu Inculeț had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Codrin Suluțiu. Oliver's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebiu Inculeț was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Hotesti walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
